Good morning girls! Happy Sunday! Today I decided to write about my favourite products for fake tanning. At the beginning of summer, I was looking for a perfect self tanner. I read a lot of reviews and decided to buy these self tanners from Clinique (Clinique Self Sun Face Tinted Lotion and Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion in colour Medium/Deep). Both lotions gives you a golden "tan" in just a few hours. I personally leave it for a whole night and just rinse everything in the morning. The lotion for face is very tinted, so it is easy to apply it evenly, also you can only use it at night or if you know that you don't need to go somewhere that day. When you wash your face, the brown tint comes off and you are left with a nice, golden glow. The ingredients of this self tanner are gentle and moisturising, without sharp flavors, so it is suitable for face and body. The most important thing is that it doesn't break me out. The Self Sun Body Lotion looks very natural on me, even though I bought the darkest colour. Both face and body lotions have that fake tan smell, but it's not as offensive as the other ones, which I tried previously. Also they are tested by dermatologist and their formula is non-acnegenic and oil-free. The fake tan lasted on me for about five days.
Hello! As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I still have some summery beauty products that I want to write about. So this blogpost will be dedicated to my favorite perfume this summer - DOLCE & GABBANA Light Blue.
The fragrance description:
A stunning perfume, overwhelming and irresistible like the joy of living. The scent is surprisingly colored with the liveliness of Sicilian citron, the happiness of Granny Smith apple, and the spontaneity of bluebells. Feminine and resolute notes are expressed with the intensity of jasmine, the freshness of bamboo, and the charm of white rose. The deep and true base embodies the character of cedarwood, the fullness of amber, and the embrace of musk.
Notes: Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Musk.
Deep and true.
Hello again! It seems like summer is now long gone, but I still have some beautiful products, which are probably more appropriate to use on summer, but I really want to write about them now. So, the first product of which I want to talk about is Juicy Shaker from Lancome. I used this lip gloss all summer long and I really loved it.
Well, I have to say that this product is more like a lip oil to me, than a lip gloss. But it is perfect in every way. The colour that I have is called - Berry in love. Such a beautiful name, right?
It's very fun to apply it on my lips, because the applicator is very soft and it feels luxurious. The colour that I have is very pigmented and it stains my lips, so I can see the pink colour even after I ate. Also, my lips felt very hydrated every time I applied it. So, in general, I can't say it in words how much I love this product!
I know that summer is almost over and I'm probably sooo late with this blogpost, but I really wanted to talk a little bit about sunscreens. Just recently I discovered that I am allergic to chemical SPF. Chemical sunscreens use a combination of two to six of these active ingredients: oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, and octinoxate. They absorb rays in a chemical reaction that dissipates the heat back off the skin. My skin reacts very badly with these ingredients and I start to itch all over my body, which is not very fun. I did my research and found out that there are sunscreens with mineral SPF too. Mineral sunscreens use active mineral ingredients, such as zinc oxide and titanium oxide. They reflect the sun’s rays like a mirror to protect exposed skin. Generally speaking, naturally derived ingredients used in mineral sunscreens are gentler than chemicals. So now I have two products that I want introduce to you, one sunscreen is chemical (La Roche-Posay Anthelios), but somehow it works perfectly well on my skin, and the other one is mineral (Clinique Mineral Sunscreen Lotion).
If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may probably already know, that I have been on holiday in Mallorca. I had a really great time and fell in love with this beautiful island.
Of course, when I come to other country, I try to look for beauty products, which we do not have in Lithuania. The one and only thing that I really wanted to find this time was Jo Malone cologne. I knew that there was Jo Malone shop in Palma (Mallorca's capital), but I didn't have enough time to search for it, because we lived in another city called Palmanova. So I was pretty sad about it, but I found a Jo Malone counter at the airport, when we were about to fly back home. Can you imagine how happy I was about it? I took a sniff of all the colognes and decided to buy BLUE AGAVA AND CACAO. Because summer is almost over, I though there is no point in buying light citrusy colognes and the one that I picked is perfect for fall. It has a floral scent, but it's pretty heavy, because it has cacao, cinnamon, vetiver and musk in it too. So I am very happy that I finally purchased a scent from Jo Malone, because every blogger is raving about them.
Another great purchase was this beautiful bracelet with pearls from Majorica. Actually my fiance bought it for me as a gift, that was very sweet of him.
Majorica is a well know brand in Mallorca. The Majorica pearl is made of an opaline crystal nucleus coated in multiple fine layers with the “pearl essence”, an extract obtained from the Majorica secret processing technique of natural organic elements of the Mediterranean Sea. Its complex formula reproduces the iridescence, beauty, resistance and perfection of the finest natural pearls. I fell in love with this bracelet as soon as I saw it. Isn't it beautiful?
Hi ladies! Today's blogpost is about nail polishes. It's the middle of the summer already and I really wanted to share with you, which nail polishes and colours are my favourite this summer. Somehow, unintentionally, all my favourite nail polishes are from Sally Hansen. In general, I really love Sally Hansen, their nail polishes are affordable and high quality.
So these are the colours that I love the most:
The colours of these nail polishes are bright and fun. It lasts about four days without chipping and all the colours lift my mood when I see them on my nails. Tell me in comments, which nail polishes are you favourite this summer?
Hi my beautiful friends! Today I decided to write a review about new product from Bioderma. It's a Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30 moisturiser for sensitive and dehydrated skin. This product is out in a market for a couple of months now. I heard so many great reviews about it and decided to try it myself.
The first thing that I have to mention is that this moisturiser is suitable for dehydrated, sensitive dry, normal and combination skin. My skin is combination, so this cream works great on me. It gives me a nice, healthy glow, that I really like.
Benefits that Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur moisturiser gives to your skin:
- - Conceals blemishes and micro-wrinkle
- - Durably smoothes skin texture and immediately enlightens the complexion
- - Prevents skin ageing & protects from UV rays
- - Intensely and durably hydrates
Also, another important things is that the packaging is very hygienic and easy to use, because it has a pump. I also really like the fact that it is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, paraben-free. It also works well as a base for your make-up, but I like to wear it on it's own just because it gives a nice glow to my skin.
As always, if you want your skin to look good and in order to improve the effect of this moisturiser, it is recommended to use it with other products from Bioderma Hydrabio range, which you can find below.
